Our Capabilities
PRECISION INJECTOR TESTING
S&S Diesel Motorsport uses custom injector testing equipment, modified in-house, to thoroughly validate every product to a level of standards that exceed OEM capabilities. Measuring injection rate shape of complete sets simultaneously, and measuring the complete profile of five injection events per simulated combustion cycle are a few of the capabilities of the S&S fuel lab.
HIGH-PRESSURE PUMP TESTING
S&S Diesel Motorsport is capable of testing all sizes and models of high-pressure fuel pumps to varying speeds and outputs. Our modified test bench is capable of spinning a 1,850 mm³/rev CP3 pump in excess of 6,200 RPM to test durability in a high-rpm racing environment.
ENGINEERING CONSULTING
Many years of OE fuel system and engine development experience have given S&S Diesel Motorsport engineers the insight and skills crucial to providing world-class consulting services. Manufacturers like Cummins, GM/Duramax, and PACCAR, to name a few, trust the expertise of S&S engineers.
ENGINE DEVELOPMENT & TESTING
Drawing on many years of OE-level engine development experience, the engineers at S&S Diesel Motorsport have the skills and mindset to thoroughly test any common rail diesel engine platform. The S&S engine dynamometer cell has the ability to gather critical engine performance data, including 8x cylinder pressure channels.
ENGINE CONTROL & CALIBRATION SUPPORT
Other than developing and manufacturing fuel systems, S&S Diesel Motorsport also provides turn-key engine control packages that utilize the most advanced electronics available and are fully supported by the S&S calibration experts.
